Why doesn't the liquid doesn't feel warm?Updated 2 years ago
The electronic components of your BuubiBottle Milk Warmer, including the heating plate, are positioned below the vessel. As a result, the bottle both warms liquids and reads temperatures from the base.
Without light agitation during the warming process, the liquid at the very bottom of the bottle will warm to your target temperature before the liquid near the top, and the device will beep to indicate that the liquid has reached the desired temperature. If you were to agitate the liquid at this point, the temperature would normalize, and the reading on the screen would drop accordingly before raising again as the liquid continues to warm.
The solution, then, is to simply swirl the milk in the bottle a few times during the warming cycle. When warming breastmilk or pre-mixed formula, it's important not to shake or otherwise roughly agitate the bottle to avoid introducing a significant number of air bubbles that can end up in your baby's tummy.
