Obligatory Disclamer: The blade is sharp, so please be careful.

Step 1: Power off the unit and remove the sblending cup.

Step 2: Remove the lid and carefully remove the blade from the stirring cup, as shown. Review the ‘Product Components’ section of this manual if you need a visual aid of components. To remove the blade, you will need to disengage it from the blade holder at the base of the blending cup. The blade holder is rotated to the right to disengage and remove it, and once clean, it is rotated left to install.

IMPORTANT: The blade gasket is the silicone ring that is placed between the blade and the stirring cup to seal it before you connect it to the blade holder. The tapered side of the blade gasket should be positioned downward on re-assembly.
