How long should it take to warm up?Updated 2 years ago
One of the most common questions we get about the BuubiBottle Portable Milk Warmer is "How long should it take to warm up?"
The answer is a little bit complex, but we'll break it down here.
Note: Breast milk is delicate. Simply put, heating too much or too quickly can easily destroy the valuable nutrients and immunological components that make it so beneficial. We intentionally designed the BuubiBottle Milk Warmer to gently warm breast milk and formula, protecting vital fats and nutrients.
Liquid volume, initial temperature, target temperature, and even ambient temperature all play a role in how long it takes to warm up.
The table below outlines what you can expect from your device.
| Liquid Volume | Starting Temperature | Target Temperature1 | Time to Warm2 | Battery Life3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 150ml (5oz) | 25ºC (54ºF) 12ºC (77ºF) | 37ºC (98ºF) 37ºC (98ºF) | 4 Minutes 9 Minutes | 10.25 Hours 9.25 Hours |
